A physical fight broke out between social media critic Martins Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), and comedian Freedom Atsepoyi, aka Mr Jollof, during a flight from Asaba to Lagos, according to a report from DAILY POST Nigeria.
The incident was first revealed by Facebook user Dr Paul Ezikel, who shared a video of the clash on Monday morning. The altercation occurred aboard an aircraft operated by United Nigerian Airline.
Daily Post Nigeria noted that both men have a history of online confrontations, stemming from VDM’s claims involving Jollof’s wife, whom he alleged “sleeps with Yahoo boys.”
VDM later confirmed the incident in a video posted on his Facebook page, stating that he overpowered the comedian during the scuffle. “I don chop Jollof father for inside plane. He bite me, man wey de bite,” he said.
