“All problems cannot be solved, even if this government stays for 20 years,” says Wike.
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, says no administration can fix all of Nigeria’s problems—even in 20 years.
Speaking during a media briefing in Abuja, Wike addressed criticisms over the absence of formal commissioning for certain projects, stating: “All problems cannot be solved, even if this government stays for 20 years; no government can solve all problems.”
He said the Tinubu administration is prioritizing projects that improve lives.
“It’s not possible for us to commission every project,” he added, noting that visibility is given to major, capital-intensive projects. Wike urged journalists to visit project sites to appreciate ongoing efforts.
