The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has praised the Nigeria Police and other security agencies for swiftly arresting the suspected mastermind behind the Yeletawa massacre in Benue State.
In a statement issued Tuesday by Deputy Director of Communication & Media, Paul Odenyi, NOA Director General Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu described the arrest as “a strong indication” of the agencies’ commitment to safeguarding lives and property.
“The prompt response has brought much-needed relief to the affected communities,” he said.
Issa-Onilu also lauded President Bola Tinubu’s leadership, referencing his earlier directive that perpetrators be brought to justice. He highlighted the effective synergy among security agencies and urged Nigerians to support law enforcement with timely and accurate information.
NOA reaffirmed its commitment to unity, patriotism, and national integration.
