Elon Musk momentarily crossed a net worth of $500.1 billion, putting him “halfway” to becoming the world’s first trillionaire.
Billionaire tech magnate Elon Musk is now reportedly halfway to becoming the world’s first trillionaire, according to Forbes.
At one point, Musk’s net worth reached $500.1 billion before dipping back to about $499.1 billion, per the “Real-Time Billionaires” tracker. He achieved that milestone as Tesla shares rebounded following his controversial foray into politics and other financial gains.
Trailing behind Musk are Oracle CEO Larry Ellison, with $350.7 billion, and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, with $245.8 billion, as ranked on the Forbes list.
Musk’s wealth accumulation traces back to his early ventures: he sold online publishing software to Compaq in 1999, later joined PayPal, and eventually founded SpaceX and became Tesla’s chairman.
