Minister of Information Mohammed Idris says President Tinubu remains focused on securing Nigerians and stabilising the economy.
President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed his commitment to safeguarding lives and property as part of efforts to fast-track Nigeria’s development.
The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, stated this in Bida on Saturday during an APC interactive session and the inauguration of the Campaign Council for the Nov. 1 local government election in Niger State.
Mr Idris said the Tinubu administration had directed security agencies to do whatever it takes to restore peace nationwide.
“The economy is getting better, and this is just the beginning of many better things to come,” he said.
He donated N100 million to support APC’s campaign activities in Niger South, with each of the eight local government areas receiving N10 million.
Idris urged supporters to conduct peaceful, issue-based campaigns, saying, “No one’s blood is worth any political position.”
He expressed confidence that the APC would win the upcoming election.
